This race for the summer series is being raced down at Forrest in conjunction with the Forrest MTB Club

Geelong MTB Club and Forrest MTB Club are combining forces to bring you a great Sunday of racing.  The vision for this race is to continue vary up our racing locations and promote some other areas for GMBC members to ride bikes.

No Frills Mountain Bike Racing is for 13yo and older Male and Female Riders. The focus is on fun and gaining skills through a typical club racing format. These races involve mountain bikes only with e-bikes welcome. This race is part of the 6 Race Summer Series held at the You Yangs Mountain Bike Park

Please note: If you do decide to race with an e-bike please let us know either via comments upon entry or on race day, as although e-bikes are welcome to race in our events, we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage. E-bike competitors are not eligible to place or collect prizes (chocolates).

Adaptive Riders are welcome to race in all our events. Although we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage, adaptive riders are eligible to compete in whatever grade they feel suit their ability level. We are always considerate of the needs of the adaptive rider and will do our best to run courses that also cater for their needs as well as the rest of our members. As an adaptive rider if you can let us know in advance then we can also alter our courses even more to cater for your needs

  • Race 5: No Frills Friday 16-February 2024 (Stockyards)
  • Race 6: No Frills Saturday Forrest XCO Event 9-March 2024 (Forrest)
  • Spare Round: 1-2nd March
