GMBC August Intermediate and Above Social Ride – Harcourt

Come Ride one of Victoria’s most amazing Mountainbike Parks just outside of Castlemaine – Harcourt MTB Park. This is a purpose “Dirt Art” built park, with a guided tour from your GMBC Committee members

Lunch/Drinks at Goldfields Cafe after the ride.

Parking: There is no car parking for bike riders at La Larr Ba Gauwa Park. Follow the road signs from the Calder Freeway to the parking area in the village of Harcourt, on High Street opposite the CFA. We will then meet at Goldfields Cafe at 10am ready to go. We’ll ride purpose-built off-road path that runs alongside Market Street and Picnic Gully Road, taking you directly to the mountain bike trail head.

This ride is aimed at Intermediate and above riders and ride time will be around 3 hours so you need to be of reasonable fitness and skill. If you can do the black runs at the Youies without issues this will suit you.

Cost / Details to Participate:
1. Free for MTBA members.
2. For non-MTBA riders you can purchase Day License to cover insurance issues – $10 Seniors, $7 Juniors.

What to bring: Each rider should have a reliable working mountain bike, helmet, gloves, suitable clothes, enough food and water to last the ride, a multi tool, a spare tube and a pump. Money for Lunch and Drink (Highly Recomend Harcourt Apple Cider)
