Crazy 6 on Tour Race – six hour team race Anglesea, Sat, 22 Nov 2025

COURSE PREVIEW! We’re going to do a no-drop course preview ride on Sunday 16th November leaving the Hurst Road car park at 10am. We’ll stop and session any obstacles as we go and we’re happy to answer any questions about the race format, strategy and riding in general. We’re not taking registrations for the pre-ride, please reach out to the club if you have any questions about it.

Due to the Kurrajong Crazy 6 being one of our most popular races we have decided to take it on tour and run a race from Anglesea in the same format – racing for a full six hours in teams of two or three around the fantastic MTB tracks of Anglesea.

The course wstart/finish and transition area will be on track 1 opposite the Chocolate Factory on the Great Ocean Road. Access for parking and the event village will be via the Hurst Road car park, through the gate that leads to track 1. All participants will be sent more details

The Crazy 6 is open to 13yo and older male and female riders in teams of two or three, either female, male or mixed teams.

The course lap will be of around 8km (about ~30mins depending on the grade) and you can complete as many laps as you wish within the six hours. Each rider must take it in turns to complete a lap. When the checkered flag comes out you will not be able continue on another lap.

Presentations will commence ~30 mins after your race cut off time.

Open to mountain bikes AND e-mountain bikes only.

Adaptive Riders are welcome to race in all our events although this course is not suitable for three/four-wheeled bikes. While we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage, adaptive riders are eligible to compete in whatever grade they feel suit their ability level. We are always considerate of the needs of the adaptive rider and will do our best to run courses that also cater for their needs as well as the rest of our members. As an adaptive rider if you can let us know in advance then we can also alter our courses even more to cater for your needs

This race is part of the 6 Race Spring Series held at the You Yangs Mountain Bike Park.
