DESCRIPTION:Tier 3 National Cup Cross Country & GMBC Club Championship Race – Rider Information\nRace format:\nXCO = Cross Country Olympic Style Race – Race multiple laps of a short loop of around 6km with some technical climbs and descents. No set laps, do as many laps as you can before the 80 minute cut off to start a new lap.\nAwarding of National Cup Points:\nAs a Tier 3 National Cup Cross Country MTBA recognise the following categories for both men and women\n– Elite\n– Expert\n– Masters 1 – 10\n– Junior (Under 19)\n– Under 17\n– Under 15\n– Under 13\nThis event will run the categories outside of those listed above so A, B, C, D for Men and A, B for Women. Results will be extracted based on rider’s date of birth and awarded to the appropriate age category retrospectively.\nIf you are a GMBC member you will also be competing for the GMBC Overall Club Champion.
