DESCRIPTION:Summer Race Series – pre-season race clinic and ride\nGMBC is hosting a pre-season race clinic on Sunday 19 January 2024 – one week before the start of the Summer No Frills MTB Cross Country Series.\nNever raced before and want to know how No Frills racing works before signing up?\nWant to hone your skills and tackle some of the more technical features before race day?\nWant to learn more about race-craft, tactics and preparation?\nHave some burning questions about bike set-up, technique or how to go faster?\nJust want to ride the set course for the season opener, meet some GMBC members and have a chat?\nThen this day is for you.\nWe will have some of GMBC’s experienced club racers on hand to answer your questions, share their secrets (we have been assured they won’t hold back!) and to host a ride of the set course for the first race of the No Frills Summer Series.\nWe’ll tailor the format of the day depending on people’s interests, but it will include a no-drop lap or two of the 9km course for the 7th February Twilight Race:\nhttps://www.strava.com/routes/3166273930847852010\n
